Why I give discounts
Being a photographer in the north west of England rocks! Wedding photography gives me the chance to hang out with so many different types of interesting and inspiring people (as well as some crazy ones, but that’s cool too! ).
I’ve photographed weddings for couples who are millionaires and couples who have more humble lifestyles. Makes no difference to me. I have always been more impressed by how people treat one another than how much money they may have. That’s not to say wealthy people aren’t lovely and philanthropic and… now I’m babbling.
What I’m trying to say is: I want to give back a little kindness to some of the people who give so much of themselves to others, that’s why I give discounts. I’m not saying one wedding is better than another or one deserves preferential treatment to another. Basically the great thing about being your own boss is that you can do what you want! (Sort of – I still have to take the bins out, clean the cars, light the wood burner, pick up the dog poop… you get the gist!)
As I can ‘sort of’ do what I want I’ve decided to give back to some of the people that I really admire. If you are a student, work for the NHS, Armed Forces, Police or work within the care sector in some way, I’d like to offer you 10% off your wedding photography.
It doesn’t matter if you are getting married in your back garden or flying your guests out to a destination wedding in Santorini – my offer still stands. Book me at my current price and I’ll honour the wedding photography discount.
