A little more about me
Talking about me isn’t my favourite pastime. I much prefer chatting to people about the goings on in their lives. Perhaps that is why I am drawn to wedding photography – I‘ve always been interested in other peoples weird and wonderful lives!
So here’s me in a nutshell:
I’m not allergic to nuts but I am allergic to rocket leaves and penicillin. The idea of having dinner with Heston Blumenthal makes me a little nervous.
I love getting out and walking in the English countryside with my wife. The Peak District, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are some of my favourite places. I sometimes take my camera along too.
I’ve had a couple of Thai Boxing fights and won! I’ve hung up the boxing gloves on a high. Nobody looks cool with a black eye at a wedding – especially me.
A few years ago (OK more than a few) I studied Broadcasting Techniques at Salford University.
I have tattoos that I think rock, but not all of them. #ChineseDragon
On holiday I once rescued a drowning child.
My music taste is eclectic and Spotify proves it.
I love to travel to new places to experience different cultures.
I don’t have kids although we have fostered a few teenagers over the years gone by.
People say I look like Elijah Wood (you may need to Google him these days). I’m a fan of The Lord of the Rings but don’t see the likeness
One of my favourite bands of all time is Oasis. I grew up living around the corner from them in Burnage, Manchester. The first discotheque I went to was the Oasis rehearsal studio The Boardwalk.
I sometimes wish I was a little older so I could have got to experience the infamous Haçienda
Check out, why I started wedding photography
I don’t want to bore you to sleep with my back story too much.
But if you are masochists, I’m more than happy to fill you in on the finer details over a hipster pale ale or a Vietnamese coffee – I know a couple of great places for both in Manchester!
